One of the best collections of stories ever

Long before anyone ever called it hopepunk, Spider Robinson wrote one of the definitive series in the genre. Callahan's wasn't just a story, it was a movement. From the Usenet groups to the in-person meetups, the fans of this series have been almost as great as the series itself.

It's a little dated, but it's chock-full of heart. One of my comfort reads when the world has gone to pot.

I can't recommend it enough.
